Support the Library

Donations Needed!
Adopt-a-Subscription Program- Help keep great magazines on our shelves by supporting our Adopt-a-Subscription program.  We do our annual drive in September and is a great “green” way to show your support and you won’t have to deal with past issues.
Book Sale-Delia Library holds an annual book sale located in the school foyer every December with all titles only $0.25 each. If you would like to donate paperbacks to our sale please let the librarian know.  Unfortunately, we do not have much storage space so can’t take donations until December 2013.
Donate Material- If you have items you would like to donate to the library, we request you contact the library manager in order to ensure the items meet our donation guidelines. We can no longer accept items brought to the library without previous arrangements.

Donor and Sponsor Wall- Our generous supporters ensure we can continue to provide Delia and surrounding community with the best in library services and resources. We thank them for their support through our Donor and Sponsor Plaque Wall in the Library, official receipts, and thank you cards.  These donations will be handled through the Friends of the Delia Library Society.  If you would like further information on our donation policy please contact the library.
Become a Volunteer-The Library Board works very hard to provide as many open hours to the library in the Delia Community and relies on volunteers to help run the circulation desk during after school or evening hours from September to June.  It is a great opportunity to meet people, learn new skills, and get involved in the services the library offers. Contact the Library Manager if you wish to volunteer.
Become a Board Trustee or Friend of the Library- The Library Board helps in governing the operations of the Delia Library and requires volunteer directors to function.  Also, the Friends of the Delia Library Society are a project based, fundraising organization aiding the Library in providing services and resources to the community.
