Land Acknowledgement

The Delia Library respectfully acknowledges the traditional territories and histories of the Blackfoot Confederacy comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations, the Tsuut'ina First Nation, the Stoney Nakoda including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations, and the Metis Nation Region 3.

We also acknowledge the Inuit and other diverse Indigeous people whose ancestors marked this land since time immemorial, a place that welcomed many peoples from around the world to make their home here.

We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
